Barossa Valley Cheese Co.
You’ll find plenty of cheesemakers in Australia, but what makes Barossa Valley Cheese Co. different is that their cheese is made by a winemaker. Founder Victoria McClurg studied as a winemaker and trained in France, accordingly, it’s not just any cheese: these are rare, authentically traditional varieties. These cheeses are influenced by the nuances of French style and tradition, coupled with the unique creativity of Barossa regionality.
All their cheeses are handmade with a winemaker’s sensibilities and artisan skill at their very own cheese cellar in the picturesque town of Angaston, South Australia, using local milk from cows and goats.
And being the cheeses of a winemaker, you know exactly what they’ll complement perfectly.
